I do a range of public speaking, workshops, and zine sharing around black women, media and labor. Here are some past events I’ve participated in.
In November 2023 I presented at the Pathologies of Labour Conference at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. The paper was entitled, "the discursive logics of the Black womens' contemporary anti-work movement".
In April 2024 I led a public lecture on anti-work philosophies at the Salt Eaters Bookshop in Inglewood, CA.
In June 2024 I participated in LA Zine fest.
In August 2024 I participated in Armory Zine Fest.

In October of 2023 I began working as a fellow with ITS-IN-SCOPE, a community archive. I contributed to the development of an archive study guide, and led a public lecture around Black womens’ digital archives and labor.
In November 2024 I presented a public lecture entitled Get Somebody Else to Do It: Black Women’s Anti-Work Philosophies and Post-Work Imaginaries, at the Salt Eaters Bookshop in Inglewood. Here, I presented on zines and archival research.

In November 2024 I presented on the role of zines in academic research at the Association for the Study of Higher Education.
In January 2025 I began serving as a Fellow for Sip and Sonder’s In-Residence program. Sessions will focus on archiving, zine making, and preserving past and future histories.
